Fuel economy

Spark sports a 1.0-liter engine to deliver estimated fuel efficiency for a combined city/highway of 4.8 liters/100km. The engine uses an electronically controlled EGR valve to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions. It works by re-circulating exhaust gas back into the cylinders, generating pressure without generating heat. This keeps emissions low and fuel efficiency high.

 Big on safety

Structural enhancements to the Spark have resulted in improved energy absorption and energy dispersion. And in addition to driver and front passenger frontal airbags, Spark offers side and roof-rail airbags, protecting the head and neck, thorax, and abdomen.

Interior functionality

Step inside the Spark and you’ll find the rear seat offers a 60/40 split with both sides folding down. A cargo cover keeps prying eyes from seeing into the cargo area. And the seats are tuned to offer the ultimate in comfort.

Surprisingly roomy

The Spark gives you the best of both worlds. A hatchback with five doors and a cleverly designed interior, it offers the leg- and headroom to let you stretch out in ways other small cars can only wish for. So long road trips aren’t out of the question.
