Exquisite Exterior

Rugged as a crossover SUV, stylish as a mid-class sedan and more affordable than both, the 2011 Chevrolet Captiva redefines the seven-seater compact crossover SUV. Its profile is dominated by bold wheel cut-outs, wheels up to 18” and a powerful shoulder line. Captiva also offers three-dimensional headlamps, turn-signal lamps integrated into its exterior mirrors and air intake ports in the front fenders. Bold wheel arches, protective moldings and front and rear skid plates make the 2011 Captiva a real eye-catcher.

Generous interior dimensions, tons of cargo space and ample legroom make the 2011 Chevrolet Captiva the ultimate affordable crossover SUV for long journeys. And it’s one of the few models available as a seven-seater and still considered a compact crossover SUV.

Bose Surround Sound System

The versatility of the 2012 Traverse is complemented by available Bose sound systems. A 10-speaker Bose sound system is standard in 2LT and LTZ. A separate Bose Surround Sound System, included with the available rear-seat DVD entertainment system, features a suite of exclusive Bose technologies that help deliver discrete 5.1 surround sound to listeners.

Comprehensive Safety

In the event of a frontal impact, the 2011 Captiva's pedals automatically disengage, reducing the risk of leg injuries. Chevrolet's Electronic Stability Program system is included to ensure Captiva always goes where you want it to, as are a number of additional systems - including Hydraulic Brake Assist (HBA), Hill Descent Control (HDC) and Active Rollover Protection (ARP).

HDC (Hill Descent Control)

The 2011 Captiva's Hill Descent Control (HDC) system maintains velocity during steep downhill driving to the limit you choose.

Driver Information Center (DIC)

A refreshed interior and dashboard puts more functionwithin your reach and now offers Bluetooth connectivity, while steering-wheel-mountedcontrols enable you to play around with your eight-speaker audio system. For the finishingtouch, an enhanced Driver Information Center provides data on A/C, outdoor temperature,average fuel consumption, direction and speed.
